Santorini

After partying for 4 days straight in the debauchery that is Mykonos, it was time to relax in Santorini. We arrived in Honeymoon Island to find that we were the only group of three on the island, and everything is geared towards couples. When walking to our hotel on Kamari beach, we noticed that all of the restaurants had signs that read, “lovers special: 2 for 1” or “romantic dinner for 2”, and so on; every sign was decorated with hearts or cupids, and there we stood- three men. Actually, after Ibiza and Mykonos it was a pleasant transformation from sluts to sunsets. We rented ATVs and explored the island. The ATVs were a lot of fun, and Sam didn’t even crash one this year! This year it was Ace that was fortunate he paid for the full coverage insurance. We went to the south tip of the island where they have black sand beaches and water sports. The most enjoyable thing we did the entire trip was going tubing in the back of a boat; we all had separate tubes so the driver of the boat threw us into each other like we were human bumper cars. It was amazing.

On our last day, we met up with Gordy’s very close family friends Bob and Sue Emmer. They took us to a great lunch overlooking the Mediterranean. We caught up, heard funny stories about their kids Paul and Scott, and even got mistaken for celebrity groupies just by being around them! Once they left, some Scottish people asked us if we were just with Steven Spielberg and some other famous lady (We didn’t recognize her name). They were so excited and thought we were so cool for being associated with some a-listers. They asked us what we did; we just keep it cool and told them Ace is rich.

After our celebrity lunch we headed to the northern tip of the island, IA, where we watched the sunset with all of the honeymooners. Once again, we were the only group of three. It was a nice break from the degeneracy, but we were to head to Czech Republic were we would continue the debauchery. We would be staying with Sam’s sister in Czech and celebrating Gordy’s birthday- next stop, Prague!
