Grenada: Day 2

Woke up to go to church for easter sunday. bbq on the black sand beach along the cliff. exploring over the cliff to find a secluded fisherman beach with a conch graveyard. There was cow duce everywhere on the cliff trails. We don't know how an animal big enough to drop those dog sized deuces can fit through the skinny trails. Then we took the "air up there" African village style bus over to grand anse, the nice tourist beach. Hung out there for a while, met sizzle’s sis' friends and swam out about 300 yards into the ocean. Then we went to a 5 star resort and mooched off their beach chairs, passed out for a while and headed over to some pizza place for dinner. Grenedians aren't very friendly. they're all black people who don't smile, don't communicate with you, wont continue a conversation, service sucks. its wack. they need that hispanic friendly subservience.

Grenada: Day 1

After Gordy left around 9am, Sizzle didn't feel like it would be worth sleeping so He called Xiomara (the girl who picked us up when we hitchhiked). She picked Siz up around 11 and they went to Pinones-that was the barrio where g4 and SIzzle had fish caught after we ordered it. Sizzle felt like such a local going there again. Sizz had iguana on a stick this time. Then hit the beach near Ocean Park. Then, we went to the PJ's and Sizzle got my authentic PR Calle 13 haircut (only $5!!). Around 2pm, they rushed back to the hotel where Sizz got an extended checkout time for 1pm. Rushed to the airport from there and got to the check-in 4 minutes late. Since they thought Sizz was a local (cuz of his new haircut), they showed him some mercy and let him get on the plane. Lori, this gorgeous Boricua, escorted him to the gate. The little Aaliyah plane scared the crap outta Sizzle. He had a 2 hour layover in St. Vincent where they sold cheap liquor and cuban cigars. He borught some on the way back. Got into Grenada at 8:30pm. This place is hooood. Not the U.S. hood, but like the Africa hood. He went to a chill outdoor restaurant and then hit the club for some school sponsored event. The club was divided between nerdy Indian med students doing the Bungrha 2-step and ghetto ebony islanders shaking their asses in hoochie outfits. Sizz felt like he was in B-more again.
