Day 4, best day ever! We started day four looking for a rental car to go to the rainforest. Also, we had to check out of our hotel room. No, we didn't get kicked out. We didn't have a hotel room for the last 2 nights of our trip, so we figured we would rent a car, drive to the rainforest, and then drive to all the hotels and find a room.But, the car rental place wanted 200$ for the day, since we were under 25. So we said whatever, and just stayed on the beach with nothing to do, and no place to stay. So when we met some nice girls, we decided to capitalize and try to stay with them. After chatting with them and stealing them away from some UCLA fans, they were telling us we could shower and put our bags in their room. We got their numbers, and headed inland to the hood.
Then we hitchhiked back to our old hotel (Video on right). Some Puerto Rican lady picked us up and thought we were gay. By the end of the ride, she was telling us we had to meet her friends and family. She was calling all her friends and telling them how she picked up "two gringos".. funniest thing ever. She also offered her place but it was kind of far from where we wanted to be.
When we got back to our old hotel, still homeless, we had a change of fortune. We met a group of some really cute girls. Well Gordy thought they were gorgeous, Sam was still thinking about the Puerto Ricans. We hung out with them for a little bit. Then, we decided to get a place at the same hotel we just checked out of. We were just feeling the vibe, having a fun time with the girls, and wanted to play super smash brothers in our room. Then another amazing thing happened…
Previously, The Best western had charged us 150+ a night. But at 3 am we found this black guy, Richard.
Richard worked the night shift and DGAF (as the bros would say). We smooth talked him to give us the room for 60 a night- best thing ever. Afterwards, we slipped him an extra $30 for hooking it up.Before we went to bed, we decided to see what was on TV. What'd we see? An ESPN classic of the original Dream Team! This was probably the highlight of the whole trip. Just seeing David Robinson, Charles Barkley, and of course God (MJ, in case you were born on Mars) playing ball. Amazing…
From hitch-hiking to gorgeous girls to out discounted hotel room, day four was amazing.

love the hitchhiking video. for some reason i thought that the lady was going to be driving some old beat up car with no ac or doors....it surprised me that they actually have got regular cars down there. haha
haha, ya she was awsome. she was down to drive us anywhere as long as we paid for her gas
